What to Expect:
Power Wheels are very popular ride-on toys for young children. They come in a variety of styles, and can be electric/battery operated or gas operated. For this event we only accept non-gas powered Power Wheels.
Power Wheels can be "modified" in a variety of ways - everything from adding accessories and "bling" to the body of the vehicle or changing out the battery for a more powerful one. A simple battery change is enough for your Power Wheel to be considered modified for this event.
All power wheel classes race 60 feet - 400 pro tree, first to finish line wins
All pit vehicles bracket race 330 feet - 500 full tree
In order for us to have a fun and SAFE event, we have the following rules for the day:
-
ELECTRIC ONLY POWER WHEELS - no gas modifications!
-
All power wheel participants must wear closed toe shoes and at least a bicycle helmet.
-
The Pit Vehicle participants must have a valid driver's license.
-
Parents/Guardians of children may assist with staging children and starting them down the track, but there can be NO PUSHING
-
There are 2 time runs per participant.
-
All 2 -wheel Power Wheels will be in the bike class.
PRE-REGISTRATION IS OPEN. PRE-REGISTRATION IS NOT REQUIRED AND YOU CAN REGISTER & PAY AT THE GATE ON RACE DAY!

How we use funds from this event
Meet Hollis! She is using a Rifton Activity Chair with Clinic Therapist, Tiffany Busenbark. We purchased this special chair with the funds from a previous fundraising event. You can read more about the chair below, and scroll through to see Hollis enjoying "messy play". And yes, keeping the shaving cream out of mouths is always a challenge! ❤
We used the funds from the 2022 Power Wheels Nationals to expand our clinic and add three new therapy spaces, and the funds from this year will help us purchase specialized equipment for use in those new therapy rooms.
We hope to purchase more specialized equipment for our clinic with funds from this year's event!
